Dr. David Contreras

Dr. Contreras learned about vitOrgan products in 1981.
Over the years, has treated and
help recovered thousands of patients around the world.
He was involved in a life-threatening car accident
at the end of January 2004.
The car crash was caused by a bus hitting him at 80 miles an hour,
resulting in significant and multiple injuries, such as,
polytrauma, and permanent motor-impairment and severe emotional distress.
Dr Contreras suffered a complete trauma of the cervical spinal cord.
VitOrgan's therapy gradually restored him from paralysis.
Dr. David Contreras is currently one of the most recognized
medical professionalsin the world and other countries
in the management of pain and regeneration treatments.
He graduated from Nueva Granda Military University as a Surgeon and
later on he specialized in Biomolecular therapy.
He is currently carrying out a social program in Colombia and Mexico
with his Da Vida Foundation where biomolecular therapy is being donated
to patients of limited resources with various types
of degenerative diseases and paralysis.
Moreover, he recently conducted research with Rafael Contreras Ph. D
in the molecular biology, reprogramming, and differentiation
of induced pluripotent- stem cells (iPSCs)
at the Hormel Institute at the Mayo Clinic, University of Minnesota.
He also participated in the publication of the book
"VitOrgan Cellular Molecular Therapy“ in Hong Kong.
During all these years of experience working with biomolecular therapy,
Dr. Contreras has had the opportunity not only to improve the quality of life
of a large number of patients but also he has achieved
great personal and medical success.

Dr. Contreras-Galindo completed his Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science
and received his Ph.D in Biomedical Sciences
at Ponce School of Health Sciences in Puerto Rico.
Currently is an Assistant Professor and Section leader
in Genome Instability and Chromosome Biology
in the Department of Genetics and the Division of Immunology
and Rheumatology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
He is a member of the NCI Geographic Management of
Cancer Health Disparities Program (GMaP) network.
He studies the function and evolution of human centromeres and telomere sequences.
He studies diseases associated with centromere defects,
such as Scleroderma and cancers.
He completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the lab of David Markovitz
at the University of Michigan where the focus was
endogenous retroviruses and cancer biology.
Rafael is originally from Bogota, Colombia,
and has a research interest in investigating the repetitive regions in the human genome.
Besides his native Spanish, Rafael studied German and speak multiple languages.
